Delhi - Agra - Lucknow - Varanasi - Jaipur - Fort Barli -Chittorgarh - Udaipur - Ranakapur - Narlai - Jodhpur - Delhi
Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Arrive at Delhi Airport. You will be met at the airport by our representative easily visible holing a placard. You will then be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay in the capital.
Day 2: Delhi Visit
We will spend the day visiting Delhi’s major attractions including India Gate and Humayan’s tomb. Try some of Delhi’s delectable famous street cuisine for lunch and explore the Old Delhi market by rickshaw. We will also take a heritage walking tour in Food Street and the Spice market. Delve into the antiquated maze of organised chaos of Chandni chowk.
Explore Paranthe Wali Gali. The atmosphere here in the old part of Delhi is filled with high pitched shouts of shop owners articulated bartering and chaos from the maze of busy alleyways as porters carrying sacks and boxes to the roads to await transport. As the world goes by, you will be drawn by the aromas of stuffed parathas being dipped into a large cauldrons, where they emerge golden and beautifully transformed. Hard to resist a snack at this point. Afterwards a visit to The Sikh temple Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib. We will learn about the langar, the free vegetarian meal prepared and served by volunteers. The mass production kitchen seems to work effortlessly like clockwork.
Overnight in Delhi.
Day 3: Delhi - Agra
After breakfast, drive to Agra. Arrive and check into hotel. Freshen up then a visit to Agra fort built by Mughal emperor Akbar. Afterwards, you will have your first cooking class in Agra. City of Agra is known for Mughalai cuisine. The Mughlai Food is a souvenir of the Mughal era in India. The food has been borrowed from the Mughal kitchen. The Mughlai dish mainly consists of meat enriched with creamy, boldly flavoured curries; with lots of dried fruits with the ground as well as whole spices. You will have the dinner from the food you cook during cooking class.
Overnight in Agra.
Day 4: Agra - Lucknow
At sunrise, a visit to the most romantic burial site in the worldthe Taj Mahal. We will return to hotel for breakfast and a shower. Then drive to Lucknow. Arrive and check into hotel. Relax and unwind.

Day 5: Lucknow
After breakfast we will enjoy half day city tour of Lucknow. Visit of Bara Imambara, Rumi Darwaja and Hazratganj Market. Afterwards, enter a whole new world of a culinary delight, bite after bite of pure joy as we wind will through the Food Streets. Lucknow, which is considered as one of the foodie capitals of India, it has a plethora of amazing food items to offer. The opulence of the areas Nawabi style of cooking is reflected in every bite. Awadhi cuisine is a refinement of Mughlai culinary traditions and is characterised by complex techniques and a depth of taste.
Later we will have our own cooking class. You will learn and cook some of the best dishes of Awadhi cuisine. We will prepare and cook Lucknow Biryani, Galawati Kebab, Sheerlmal, warqiparathas. Your dinner is served form the food we cook during cooking class.
Overnight in Lucknow.
Day 6: Lucknow - Varanasi
Today we transfer to train station and board the train for Varanasi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Later in the evening we will enjoy a tuktuk ride and make our wat to the old city river front. On the Ghats of river Ganges, you will witness an evening prayer ceremony. Around dusk the Dashashwamedh Ghat comes to life with the evening Ganga Aarti. Performed by young pundits dressed in colourful saffron, the aarti is an elaborate mesmerising ceremony complete with puja, and fire. The riverbank lights up with flaming lamps being swirled and the smell of sandalwood envelops the Ghat.
Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 7: Varanasi
After breakfast, our guide will take us on an intriguing walking tour of the unrivalled mythical city. With its Ghats, monasteries and shrines blanketed in spirituality, rituals, fascination and curiosity around every twist and turn of this city’s patchwork of narrow lanes. Situated by the banks of the river Ganga, the spiritual capital of India, Varanasi is an ancient city is nothing short of exhilarating. Here you’ll have to opportunity to try some of the best and mouth watering street foods such as Choora Matar, Gol Gappe, Laaiya Chana, Tamatar Chaat, Malaiyyo, Dahi Vada.Enjoy a boat ride at river Ganga to get the astounding view from the mystical healing waters. Observe the life of people who come to take a holy bath in river Ganga.
Overnight in Varanasi.
Day 8: Varanasi - Jaipur [By flight]
After breakfast transfer to the airport and fly to Jaipur. We will be transferred to hotel. Later enjoy a heritage walking tour of the Old City, stopping at the famous Hawa Mahal [The Wind Palace]. Touts and stallholders selling their wares in dedicated streets and lanes makes for an unforgettable afternoon. Cookware stalls are hidden gems to find that unique conversational piece for your kitchen.
Overnight in Jaipur.
Day 9: Jaipur
This morning a visit to the Amber Palace and Hanuman Ji Temple [Monkey Temple]. In the afternoon we will have our Rajasthani cooking class. Cooking in Rajasthan has its own unique flavour and the simplest ingredients go into preparing most dishes. Scarcity of water and fresh green vegetables has had their impact on the cooking in the desert areas. Instead of water the women prefer to use milk, buttermilk and clarified butter. Dried lentils and beans from indigenous plants are used liberally. Gram flour is a major ingredient and is used to make delicacies like ‘khata’, ‘ghatta ki sabzi’ and ‘pakodi’. Bajra and corn, the staple grains, are used to make rotis, ‘rabdi’ and ‘kheechdi’; and various chutneys are made from locally available spices like turmeric, coriander.You will have the dinner from the food you cook in Cooking class.

Day 10: Jaipur -Fort Barli
After breakfast, we will be driven to Fort Barli. The royal yesteryear still echoes trough this heritage opulent 16th generation heritage palatial fort. The rest of the day is at leisure to soak up the atmosphere of this incredible property that is drenched in hues and history of a bygone era. A walk through the village to converse with the curious villagers who love to share their stories and way of life.
Overnight at Fort Barli.
Day 11: Fort Barli - Chittorgarh - Udaipur
After breakfast, a drive to the regal city of Udaipur. On the way visit of one of the largest forts in India. Chittorgarh Fort. Continue drive to Udaipur. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 12: Udaipur
Awaken this morning in the Venice of the East. After breakfast it’s off to explore Udaipur’s majestic ambiance. A visit to the opulently ostentatious City Palace which is the second largest palace complex in India. The extravagant City Palace stands majestically on the eastern banks of Lake Pichola. Flanked by the Aravali mountain range, The City Palace is worth admiring for its natural settings that offer a breathtaking view of its surroundings.Maharana Udai Singh II chose a new capital for his kingdom near Lake Pichola that shielded the territory from its enemies, well surrounded by forests, lakes and the imposing Aravalli hills.The several palaces within the complex stand magnificently behind the 100ft high and 801 ft long wall built exquisitely on the ridge of Lake Pichola. Later enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 13: Udaipur –Narlai
After breakfast we will head towards Narlai. With a stop along the way to visit Ranakpur Jain Temple which has 1444 exquisitely carved marble pillars. Arrive at the palatial royal manor of RawlaNarlai. The picturesque estate perched amongst the Aravalli hills is truly a destination of dreams. The 17th century Royal Manor has been restored to the originality of its bygone glory. The rest of the day is free to relinquish in the charm of yester regality.

Day 14: Narlai
RawlaNarlai, is one of Rajasthan’s best-loved heritage hotels. After a leisurely breakfast, a tour of the village and a bullock cart ride to the antiquated stepwell.
This evening’s mystical exclusive dinner will have you transported back in a time warp. The majestic dreamy dining experience will leave you in a state of awe. Tonight, we will gather under the star lit desert sky at the candle lit 1100-year-old stepwell. The yesteryear regal mythical ambiance takes dining to a whole new level. Mesmerised by the poetic illumination with thousands of oil lamps this dining experience will linger etched in time within your soul.
Overnight in Narlai.
Day 15: Narlai - Jodhpur
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur, the blue city in the state of Rajasthan.
Check into the hotel. Then a visit to Mehrangarh Fort, where you can look down upon the old city and beyond. Following this we will move back to the old city to enjoy a heritage walking tour of the Old city around the Clock tower. You will get to ride a ride on a tuktuk, stroll through the bazar and experience life as a local.
Overnight in Jodhpur.
Day 16:Jodhpur
Today something special and a little different. We will make our way to the countryside to a village on the outskirts of Jodhpur. We will have a meal with a weaver’s family. Prepared today will be an authentic GOTH. Goth is an ancient technique ofoutdoor cooking known only in the west of Rajasthan that is prepared by men. Marwari dishes cooked with natural elements. A totally unique non touristic experience.

Day 17: Jodhpur - Delhi
Today be transferred to Jodhpur airport. Boarding a flight to Delhi to connect with your flight back home.
