COLOMBO - PINNAWELA - DAMBULLA - SIGIRIYA - KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA - HORTON PLAINS - KITHULGALA - BEACH
DAY 1: AIRPORT - COLOMBO
Upon arrival you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Colombo. Depending on your arrival time, you will be accompanied on an excursion aroundColombo city. Including the Gangarama Buddhist Temple, St. Anthony’s Church, and the Grand Mosque in Pettah, Independence Hall, Galle Face Green, and Cinnamon Gardens etc.

DAY 2: COLOMBO - PINNAWELA - DAMBULLA - SIGIRIYA
After breakfast, a drive to Dambulla. Enroute, a visit to Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Have the option to bath with these majestic mammoth mammals. (Pack a dry change of clothes just in case). In the evening sightseeing in Dambulla Golden Temple. The sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries this cave monastery boasts five sanctuaries, is the largest and best preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The Buddhist mural paintings covering an area of 2,100 m are of particular importance, as are the 157 statues.

DAY 3: SIGIRIYA - DAMBULLA - KANDY
After breakfast it is off to Sri Lanka’s most popular tourist destination. The UNESCO listed 5th century city ruins are remarkable. The ruins of the capital built by the parricidal King Kassapa I (477–95) lie on the steep slopes and at the summit of a granite peak standing some 370 m high (the 'Lion's Rock', which dominates the jungle from all sides). A series of galleries and staircases emerging from the mouth of a gigantic lion constructed of bricks and plaster provide access to the site. Climb the Rock Fortresses 1,200 steps to the top where you will marvel at the panoramic grandeur and stand proud of your accomplishment. Afterwards making our way to visit the Spice Garden in Matale and a Batik manufacturing Factory. In the evening participate in a Sri Lankan Cultural Show followed by a visit to the famous pilgrimage site the Temple of the Tooth in the sacred city of Kandy. Housing the sacred tooth relic of the Lord Buddha.

DAY 4: KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA
After Breakfast enjoy some sightseeing in Kandy followed by a visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya. The largest botanical garden in Sri Lanka covering 60 hectares, a fine collection of orchids and stately avenues of palms, spice garden, giant bamboo trees and Assam rubber trees. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya through scenic jade green tea plantations and billowing waterfalls.Enroute some tea testing at Labookellie Tea Factory. A chance to grab a bargain of well priced quality teas and enjoy free cup of tea made fresh from the factory. Nuwara Eliya is 1889m above sea level and was the favored cool climate escape of English and Scottish tea planters during colonial administration of Sri Lanka.

DAY 5: NUWARA ELIYA - HORTON PLAINS - NUWARA ELIYA
After an early breakfast, be transferred to Horton Plains National Park. It is part of the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka UNESCO World Heritage site. The island’s second and third highest mountains, Kirigalpotta (2395m) and Totapola (2359m) are situated in the plains and it is 2000m high itself. It is a heaven created patchwork masterpiece of greenery thickly forested horizons blanketed in emerald grasslands, rocky outcrops, lakes and cascading mystical waterfalls. At Worlds End, the plain abruptly ends in a sublime escarpment that plunges down 880 meters. The view is sometimes obscured by mist, during the rainy season from April to September. Best time to visit is between 6am-10 am before the clouds roll in. Return to the hotel and embrace the cooler climate of Nuwara Eliya

DAY 6: NUWARAELIYA - KITHULGALA - KALUTARA
After Breakfast drive to Kithulgala, the renowned film location where David Lean filmed his 1957 Oscar-winning epic Bridge on the River Kwai. Afterwards you have the option to partake in the adventurous rapids. White water rafting down the Kelani River in Kithulgala (optional).

DAY 7 / 8 / 9: KALUTARA - [AT A BEACH RESORT]
Now it is all about leisure soaking up the glorious rays and relaxing at a beach resort. Time out to unwind, chill out and allow your mind to drift away. Partake in what your hotel has on offer or explore the surrounding area. Time out to find yourself again or rediscover connections under the gentle sway of the palmed beaches and rolling waves.

DAY 10: KALUTARA - AIRPORT
Today you will be transferred to Colombo airport to connect with your outbound flight.
