Cochin - Athirappilly - Coonoor - Ooty - Kabini - Wayanad - Nileshwar - Kannur
Day 1: ARRIVE IN COCHIN
Arrive in Cochin, our representative will be there to greet you and transfer you to the hotel.
DAY 2: COCHIN SIGHTSEEING
Today, a sightseeing tour of Fort Cochin &Mattancherry. You could visit the local fish market, Chinese Fishing Nets, and the St. Francis Church in Fort Cochin. Later proceed to Mattancherry to see the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue (Jewish Synagogue will remain closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and other Jewish Holidays). In the evening witness a Kathakali dance performance. Accompanied by a gong, drums, and cymbals, Kathakali performers combine dance and theatre in a ritualistic portrayal of gods and demons.

DAY 3: COCHIN - ATHIRAPPILLY
After breakfast drive to Athirappilly, home to the cascading waterfalls lovingly nicknamed the Niagara Falls of India. The rest of the day is at leisure to soak in the ambience of mother natures masterpiece of an area.

DAY 4: ATHIRAPPILLY
After breakfast today an excursion to the Athirappilly waterfalls. As the clear translucent nectar of the earth makes its way to the rock shelve allowing itself to give in freely to the inevitable. The hue abruptly changes face to white resembling rapid moving clouds rolling in for a storm after a hot sunny day. As it reaches its destination the offspray rises into the atmosphere creating a mystical glow of renewal. After the walk into the forested area why resist, jump in and take a moment close your eyes and listen to the roar of the water, open your eyes, and take in the splendorous gift ofnatural beauty. Afterwards a forest walk and a traditional cooking demonstration from the kitchen of the Kadar Tribe.

DAY 5: ATHIRAPPILLY - COONOOR
After breakfast drive to Coonoor. The picturesque hill station is lush and green environment abundant in wildflowers and birdlife. The rest of the day at leisure to relax and unwind in the tranquillity.

DAY 6: COONOOR - OOTY - COONOOR
After breakfast you will be transferred to Coonoor railway station to board the Nilgiri Mountains Railway toy train bound for Ooty. Listed under the UNESCO World Heritage site. the toy train passes trough the unique picturesque locations as you witness throughout your journey in awe. Winding through the tea estates, forested hillsides and quaint villages and towns. On arrival in Ooty you will be greeted by your driver. A visit to the of Rose Garden and Dodabetta Pass. A drive back to Coonoor by car.

DAY 7: COONOOR - KABINI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
After breakfast drive to the Kabini Wildlife Sanctuary. The colonial yesteryear hunting range of the former Kings of the Wodeyar dynasty rulers of Mysore. The popularity of the hunting spot made favourable by the British Viceroys and Indian royalty. After checking into the hotel, you are at leisure to relax.

DAY 8: KABINI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Today you will enjoy two safaris within the Sanctuary.
Concealed in the Karnataka’s forests, The Kabini Wildlife sanctuary is home to the sleekness and majestic black beauty of the feline world, the black panther, skulking through with the forest as his backdrop. This kingdom of cats has a hefty population of tigers,leopardsand panthers.
As elephants plod through the forested ranges it isastorybook jungle atmospheric wonderous experience.

DAY 9: KABINI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY - WAYANAD
After breakfast, a drive to Wayanad. The winding luscious landscape of Wayanad is abundant of historic coffee, tea and cardamom plantations. Etched into the landscape the paddy fields drape the area in a patchwork of hues of emeralds. Home to some of India’s best bird watching and trekking destinations.

DAY 10: WAYANAD
Today an exploration of the area. Wayanad is a gem of hidden treasures and tales. The stunning waterfalls, Chembra Peak, Pookot Lake are some wonderful places to venture hunt. Or you might prefer to chill at the resort and make use of their facilities or a mix of both worlds.

DAY 11: WAYANAD - LOTUS HOUSBEOAT
This morning a leisurely breakfast and enjoy a little relaxation. Then a drive to check in onboard aLotus Houseboat. The network of waterways flow like veins into the sea. They serve as the arteries to the paddy fields. The beautiful spacious houseboats are revamped from traditional Keralan rice barges. Float all your cares and worries away as you let your gaze surrender to the pace of the tranquil life of the fishing villages and lush scenery full of birdlife. Let your soul take over your thoughts as you precariously let go of the modern world. A serenaded candlelit dinner below the stars as the twinkles mirror off the water’s reflection sets for a romantic evening.
Your Lunch, dinner and overnight will be on the houseboat.
DAY 12: LOTUS HOUSEBOAT - NILESHWAR
Breakfast is served on board this morning. You will be then greeted on departure for a drive to Nileshwar. Checking into the tranquil Neeleshwar Hermitage hotel set on 12 acers of natural landscaped beauty. Thatched bungalows dot the facility that borders the sandy beach by an infinity pool. Swaying palm trees and Ayurvedic treatments on offer will leave you feeling fabulously renewed.

DAY 13: NILESHWAR
Today enjoy an excursion to interact with the locals. A village tour will give you an insight into the way of life of the villagers. The harvesting of areca nuts (used in paan) from the tall palm trees make for quite theperformance of skill and limber display. A ferry ride along the river and an offer to try a fresh Toddy. Spending the afternoon wandering on a plantation walk under the shade of the trees consisting of coconut palms areca palm, rubber trees and pepper vines. The harmony with nature is prevalent with the spectacular views.

DAY 14: NILESHWAR
Today is a day of leisure. The resort has optional activities on offer, or you might like to just soak up the ambiance.
Options of activities: Cycling, Bekal fort visit, Bird Watching, Yoga session, consultation with in-house Ayurveda doctor.
DAY 15: NILESHWAR - KANNUR AIRPORT
After breakfast drive to Kannur airport [76 km]. Connecting flight for Kochi. Connecting flight back home.
