The former Royal state is adorned with the bygone era of Maharajahs and all their pomp and glory. The winding roads and our secret off the beaten track hidden gems will leave you gasping for more.

Jaipur - Sambar - Pushkar - Jojawar - Mount Abu - Rakhi - Jodhpur - Jaisalmer - Gajner - Nawalgarh - Jaipur

Day 1: Arrive in Jaipur

Plan a morning arrival, or the previous evening if necessary. We will welcome all group members at Jaipur airport and transfer you to your hotel regardless of your arrival day.

Later a half day walking tour of Jaipur city and the Amer fort in a private vehicle. In the evening have a get together and an introduction with the IPT team and your BIKES.

Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 2: Jaipur - Sambhar 82 kms

After breakfast we will leave the capital of Rajasthan and ride to Sambar Lake. A stunning surreal salt lake full of wildlife. Peace and tranquillity unbound as we stay in elegant tented accommodation. A dip in the pool will probably be welcomed by all after the ride.

Overnight at Sambhar Lake.

Day 3: Sambhar- Pushkar 95 kms

After breakfast we will ride towards Pushkar, the sandy trails of the salt lakes sea of pink flamingos makes a spectacular panoramic view mirrored as we leave the glistening lake. Arrive in Pushkar the religious town for Hindus in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan. Time to relax and unwind or explore the lake and evening bazars.

Day 4: Puskar - Jojawar 174kms

After breakfast ride to Jojawar. Set amidst the Aravalli hills the village of Jojawar boasts the stunning heritage 18th century property Rawla Jojawar, with a spectacular welcoming pool to float in after the ride. The property once the home of royalty has been restored to its heritage bygone splendour.

Day 5: Jojawar - Mount Abu 193kms

Before breakfast we will go and do something a little different, a train ride through the winding mountains with breathtaking views over curves and bends. You will be able to see the train snake its way through the wilderness from your window or if you are feeling adventurous an open door makes for a great photo opportunity. Return to the hotel for breakfast before mounting our roaring machines and head up the winding zig zag roads of the Aravalli Mountains. Arrive in Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan.

Day 6: Mount Abu

A day at leisure to explore the mountain. The picturesque town jewelled with a pristine lake and village is a lovely place to explore at your own pace. Atop the mountain is a temple worth a visit with spectacular views from upon its tip. A magnificent place to witness the sun going down.

Day 7: Mount Abu - Rakhi 214kms

After breakfast we will ride to Rakhi village. It is a village in the Marwad region it is where you will see the finest example of rural life that Rajasthan has to display. The astonishing experience will travel within you forever. A remarkably delightful host, beautiful surrounding countryside, simple and innocent living people and unbelievable and unexplored activities. You can easily lose yourself in the tranquillity.

Dinner and overnight at Kesarkot.

Day 8: Rakhi

After a home cooked delicious hearty breakfast, you will be heading out on a village walk to meet and interact with the humble local villagers. To be welcomed into homes of the villagers is a rare experience that will leave the most heartfelt memories embedded in your heart forever. You will get to see what the true life of these villagers represents as they show you their unique bygone way of life. Churning butter and kilning their own kitchenware is nothing short of impressive as are the smiles that pull on your heartstrings. Lunch will be served at Kesarkot, then in the late afternoon board the jeep for a safari of the stunning surrounding area. The picturesque countryside has a different panoramic view no matter what direction you look. Unwind watching the sun go down after its lingering day as it touches the mountain to lay its weary head. Enjoy relaxing refreshments and a few tasty morsels while you let your mind float away in the serenity.

Dinner and overnight at Kesarkot.

Day 9: Rakhi -Jodhpur 102kms

Morning ride to Jodhpur. Arrive in Jodhpur and visit the fort. Jodhpur is the second largest city of Rajasthan. It still fulfils its historic role as the areas main trading centre for wood, cattle, camels, cotton, salt, and agricultural crops. Mehrangarh Fort the old city is surrounded by a monumental nine and a half kilometre long wall, which has seven gates. Some of the houses and temples are of richly carved stone, in particular the buildings near the Sadar Bazar. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort situated on a steep hill - Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in India. To enter the Mehrangarh fort, seven gates have to be crossed. Some of these gates still bear marks of many a siege that this fort has withstood.

Day 10: Jodhpur - Jaisalmer 283kms

After breakfast we will rev up our machines and make our way to the golden city of Jaisalmer. Take a few steps back in time with the former medieval trading centre in the heart of the Thar Desert.

Day 11: Jaisalmer

After breakfast, a visit to Jaisalmer Fort. Infiltrating the fort is like stepping into a porthole in time. Contouring the curvature of the cobblestone lanes and alleys with merchants sailing their textural artworks and other fineries will bring memories of childhood fairy tales. Aladdin and the 40 thieves come to mind in its rustic ambiance. Making way to the Chandraprabhu Jain Temple within the fort. The sheer grandeur of the ornately carved temple has been preserved in time protected within the arms of the fort. The Patwa Haveli with over 60 balconies awaits within the fort, dappled in laced attire the architectural grandeur of this 18th century haveli is indeed a sight to behold. A stroll to Gadisar Lake, to view the radiant hue of the mirrored scenery that doubles itself upon the water. The domed scalloped charm of the shrines and temples adorn the landscape makes a popular portrait backdrop.

Making way back to the hotel for lunch and some free time to relax before an exciting evening in the dunes.

Around 4 pm a drive to the Sam Dunes (approximately 50 kms).

A top a camel you will witness the dusk as the pink desert sun starts to weary over the curvature landscape as you sway to and fro on the best seat in the house.

Return for an overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 12: Jaisalmer - Gajner 302kms

After breakfast drive to Gajner. Today we pass through arid land meeting locals, farmers on the way. This will be a totally off the beaten track route which we at IPT promote in order to give you out of the world experience. Arrive at beautiful 4-star heritage property Gajner Palace.

Overnight in Gajner.

Day 13: Gajner - Nawalgarh 259kms

After breakfast we will leave the palace in our revision mirrors and make tracks to the Shekhawati Region to Nawalgarh. A chance to explore the ornate Havelis that date back to a bygone era of rich merchants and a way of life that’s lost, but the intricate paintings adorning the walls depict the stories saved in time for us to explore and become enchanted amongst. Some are still owned by a long family line with amazing tales to share.

Overnight in Nawalgarh.

Day 14: Nawalgarh - Jaipur 141kms

After breakfast we will head back to our starting destination. We will then transfer you to the airport to fly to your outbound destination. Or perhaps you would like a little more time in Jaipur to soak up the vibrancy of the city or to do a little souvenirshopping. Whichever the case we will transfer you to the airport on your desired day and organise hotels.
